Sea Dog Brew Pub, which was originally a 240-seat brew pub and Kegging brewery, was founded by Pete Campin, Sr. in
Camden, Maine back in 1993. A second facility was opened in downtown Bangor in 1995, and later in 2002, master brewer Alan Pugsley and entrepreneur Fred Forsley took over the pub.
All these years later, they continue the tradition of brewing a full line of handcrafted ales and serving great food in a welcoming atmosphere. Simply put, Sea Dog Brew Pub captures the true essence of Maine's seafaring history.
Aside from our South Yarmouth location, we also have brew pubs in Topsham and Bangor. All three locations serve a full menu of handcrafted ales and a creative pub fare menu. Stop by our pub
today to enjoy our specials, trivia night, and to catch the game on one of our 9 widescreen TVs. We are open 7 days a week. Call us at 508-694-6020 for more details.
A Great Pyrenees, Barney was the apprentice brew master and figurehead of Sea Dog Brewing Company. Though Barney is no longer with us, his spirit lives on. Bred for centuries as guard dogs for mountain flocks and the French court, Barney kept up the noble tradition of his breed by keeping watch over our boiling brew kettle.
Though the Great Pyrenees aren't
generally fans of water, Barney never missed his chance to dive right in. He was a lifelong boating enthusiast, which is where he acquired the nickname - Sea Dog. If you have a trusty canine companion like Barney, bring us a picture when you visit. We will add your pup to our wall.
With 25 years of pub and restaurant industry experience, you can rest assured that you will be treated like family at Sea Dog Brew Pub.
We offer reasonable prices and have 9 TVs throughout the bar and restaurant, and always make you feel like you are at home.
